Motel 6 Buffalo, NY - Airport - Williamsville

I have a great experience every time I come here. The rooms are clean, the staff is nice. There is always quick service and everyone is willing to help. Kathy the manger really helped me during my last stay to accommodate my needs and was quick on her feet to figure out how to best get results. She definitely cares about her customers and the people who stay here! Thanks to her, I will definitely be coming back!

I have never had an experience like this in any hotel or motel before. I arrived at Motel 6 at 2:00 PM and was informed that check-in time was 3:00 PM, so I waited patiently. At 3:05 PM, I went back to the reception desk to check in. The receptionist told me that my room was not ready and was extremely rude in her response. I explained that I had been waiting since 2:00 PM and that since my check-in time was 3:00 PM, my room should have been prioritized for cleaning. Her response was shocking—she said she could give me a dirty room without cleaning if I wanted, or that she did not have a room available, despite my confirmed reservation booked through Agoda. Check-in and check-out is by virtual clerk. Kind of annoying. When we got to the room there was an unmade full bed and the heating/cooling unit didn’t work. My boyfriend went to complain and it turns out that room is being renovated and he shouldn’t have put us there. We got another room with. King size bed. Room was clean. The people in the next room were screaming at each other for quite awhile and I could hear everything they were saying. Not a well built hotel. I wouldn’t stay there again. This was last minute and a lot of places were booked.

I was fine with the hotel but it is not for everyone. The hotel is a bit dated. The room is quite simple but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was a good selection of tv channels. However, there is some deep cleaning required as the heater intake was VERY dusty (see image). The shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. The towels were fine for me, but they are quite thin and small. When checking in, I noticed shampoo packets were available at the front desk, but only hand soap packets were provided in the room. Water was not provided in the room nor was there a water dispenser to fill a water bottle. The hotel may want to consider providing a water dispenser in the lobby. Roy was really nice and helpful to the best of his ability. The rooms are nice NGL during the winter it's a little colder with the hard floors wear sock or slippers. The location has many restaurants in the area idea if you have a car I will say
