We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in St. Augustine. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, which made it especially great for families. We really appreciated having a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and even an ironing board—everything you need for a convenient stay. The staff provided excellent service, and we also loved that the hotel is pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us. There are just a couple of areas that could be improved. The shower water pressure was low, and the water was warm rather than hot. Also, the breakfast was okay, but not anything special. Overall, this hotel is an excellent option for families visiting St. Augustine to see the holiday lights at a decent price. It’s comfortable, practical, and we would definitely consider staying again.

Positive: I have nothing nice to say. Negative: The room smelled and needed upkeep. The shower corners were rusted. The bathroom door was messed up - the paint was off and particleboard was swollen at. The side windows had blinds but no curtains and lots of light came in at night. No coffee machine.

We booked this place online. The young lady who worked Christmas Eve and Day evenings was as sweet and tried to be as helpful as she could. This is an old place and rooms and grounds could use some updating. First off, the TV and remotes weren't pairing up, so we could not watch much. Second, the bed was as uncomfortable for us as it was a tough couple of nights of sleeping. Third, the shower faucet was broken and the hot water was touchy and not adjustable. A not so great experience for either of us. All in all, would not stay there or recommend this place again. The night agent was the best thing about the place. The hotel itself was a pretty bad experience. Never again.

The owner/manager of the hotel was one of the nicest people I have ever met while checking into a hotel in a tourist destination. This was our first time checking into a pet friendly hotel and he pointed out where the dog walk was and how close it was to our room. He was pleasant, chit chatted while checking me in and didn't treat me like he was doing me a favor. An all-around decent guy. All the staff that we met were pleasant and helpful. The location was ideal - not too far from I-95 and close to historic downtown. We could be anywhere within 5-10 minutes. Our bathroom had a nice walk-in shower, but the edges looked like they had mold or dirt on them. Wasn't nice to look at but didn't stop us from taking a shower since the shower pan was clean. We will stay here again if we find

This will mark the 2nd time we have stayed at this location. It is an affordable place to stay compared to others around. They do serve continental breakfast from 700 to 930AM. Which gives you a choice of eggs, sausage, cereals, muffins and make your own waffles. It is located on A1A so there is a high traffic level and can get noisy with the cars and trains. The room is decent size. Ours had 2 queen beds, a sofa chair, dresser with TV and 1 nightstand. It also had a table with 2 chairs. We were never hounded by the staff to clean our room or vacate the day we were to check out. Which is always a PLUS! The cleanliness could be better. The floor was littered with debris and left my white socks not so white. My husband found a receipt on the floor, somewhat behind the bed, thinking it was ou
