The Exchange Hotel

very old and poorly renovated- feels like a landlord special with broken/outdated fixtures painted right over. there was no parking available in the hotel lot and the front desk employee was not helpful in letting me know where else parking was available. room was fine and decently clean but very humid. upon returning from our night out we found the smoke detector in our room beeping. when i went down to the front desk for help there was no one to be found despite being told at check in someone would be available at all times. i called the number, knocked on the general manager door- nothing. two other guests joined me in the wait when their room key stopped working. i eventually gave up and went back to my room. in the morning, while my friend was in the bathroom, the door knob fell compl

Loud group of men that are friends with the owner of the hotel are constantly hanging outside on the patio yelling all day and night. I’ve woken up at 4:30am multiple times from their shouting.

This hotel should be ashamed what they charge people. It is absolutely disgusting. The stairs are filthy with dirt, the rooms are old with sinks that the wood is all broken. There are nothing but drunks slamming doors in the hallway. The ceiling fan in the gym hasn’t been cleaned in months. We are here for a week. The pool doesn’t work, the elevator doesn’t work. Every other day your key card stops working. Hotels should be made to disclose these things at bookings. I would not recommend this place to anyone with a family. It’s absolute filth.

Yall…. Think twice. This place is a mess. Pictures are deceiving. Rooms are dirty and smell like cigarettes. Would never recommend to my friend or an enemy. The front was dirty, the rooms, the hallways and the staff unpleasant. Bar does not exist. No food or drink service. Pool is inoperable. Elevator is broken. The pictures are DECEIVING. They need to do better, especially for a the rates. 0/10 Also wanted to add, our bathroom was infested with ants.

Locations is great! Short walk to so much. Tha ti's where it ends. The couple of times we interacted with the front desk they were fine. Outside looks nice and quaint. Front foyer looks great and inviting. The elevator was not working. The pool was closed. The room: omg very heavy cannibus smell to the point I hope work doesn't test me. Room was overall dusty and dirty. Bathroom was small and dirty. The pictures I took don't really do justice for the cannibus smell and just older environment. The worst problem is that due to the location it seems like it is the spot for the younger generation. The hallways are loud with people and drunks almost all night... So we slept like crap because of the noise.
