The Coho Oceanfront Lodge

I needed a night away and wanted to bring my dog. After looking at hotels I chose The Coho Oceanfront Lodge. From the moment I stepped in to check in I was impressed. Staff was so welcoming and the property so clean. They gave me a goodie bag for my dog, absolutely sweet. My room was so nice & I could open my sliding door and hear the sound of the ocean. The fire pits are wonderful and the ocean is within easy walking distance. Breakfast was really nice and our whole stay was fantastic. I will definitely be going back and look forward to my next stay. Bed was very comfortable and they even have a French press for coffee. Loved it all & I am very choosy about where I stay. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind.

Positive: Friendly staff, view, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Negative: Only complaint was french press was dirty from previous person.

Amazing view, nicely remodeled, no freezer in mini fridge and the fridge was super noisy and ended up freezing items we didn’t want frozen. French press coffee was a nice idea but not everyone wants to deal with all That 1st thing in the morning. Just a nice coffee pot or keurig would have been better. Dog friendly and allOf the nice little amenities for the pup is awesome but having the dog walk area at The end where all the dogs have to walk by all of the rooms on the 1st Floor with dogs in those room is very disruptive. Couldn’t really enjoy the view because we had to keep the blinds pulled so our dog didn’t bark the entire time because he wanted to play with any dog going potty. Kitchenette was ok. Been here several times and have mostly had a great experience, but this time we had a few problems. We came for our honeymoon only to find out they had an error in their system and never added the romance package we requested. At first the manager only offered an apology, with no compensation. But later offered $100 off and a small bottle of champagne. Roughly $250 a night and there was no soap in any of the dispensers for the shower, the light switches had this black sticky stuff on them, and there was dead bugs on the room number. The customer service was not there. I always seemed like a bother when I had to ask for extra towels. Staying there for three nights, it would be nice to have some extra towels without getting a weird look. Also, there was a promo code on their website but it

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The view was absolutely stunning, and the service throughout our visit was excellent. Everyone was kind, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. The breakfast was good, with a few nice options, and they offered coffee and tea as well. The lobby is gorgeous, and the atmosphere overall feels elegant and relaxing. One of the highlights was the special request I made for a surprise for my friend who was staying with us. The hotel prepared lovely flowers and a beautiful card. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it meant a lot to us. Thank you so much for taking great care of us. I really appreciate everything, and I would definitely stay here again.
