The Buena Park Hotel & Suites

Im not usually one to write reviews but I do feel as thought it's necessary for this one. I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting a few nearby parks and though it's great for convinence, it wasn't for other eeapns. The first night I noticed the standard 1-bed room was covered in odd stains and a giant hole in the bathroom doorway that had been covered in quick layer of plaster, obvious to the door. It was clear this hole had been a result of someone kicking in the door based on where it was located. Not really a place that necessarily made you feel safe right off the bat. It was a little loud at night, but not enough that it caused issues with my sleep. Along with that, there was a connecting door to another room which had strange, exposed wires coming from underneath the door. I

Check in and out was quick and easy. Breakfast included bagels, bread, waffles, cereal, coffee, juices, muffins along with cream cheese, jellies, syrup and butter. Plenty of parking. The WiFi jammed up my phone and internet was spotty. I often had to leave the property before I can start my GPS. I also needed to restart my phone several times. Everyone who visited me experienced the same. My room was not up to a basic standard. There were gaps in the vinyl plank flooring, the floors were dirty (I wore brand new flip flops and the bottoms were pretty black when I left), and when I turned on the heat/cooling system it revealed a scent of urine. I had a really good experience here and would definitely stay again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the front-desk staff were friendly and helpful. While the property itself is older, the rooms look refreshed and well cared for — it feels like they’ve done some nice updates recently. The location couldn’t be better! There are plenty of food options nearby, it’s an easy walk to Knott’s Berry Farm, and there’s even a city bus stop close by that goes straight to Disneyland in about 25 minutes. The deposit was also very reasonable — not nearly as bad as some reviews suggested. Overall, a solid, convenient place to stay if you’re visiting the parks or just want a clean, comfortable spot in Buena Park.

Great location! Close to Disney and major stores. We walked to Knotts Berry Farm from the hotel. The Rocknbrew and Broken Yolk were both great restaurants near by. Our room was a little dirty behind the beds and they need to touch up the paint in areas. The hot tub was cold! It can't cost too much to keep that hot / fixed for guests. Their pool was clean but too cold in for October. Breakfast was ok- nothing special. The front desk lady was great and very friendly. For the price it was a decent place to stay. No bed bugs that we could find and we always look.

This place is an absolute dump, a roach-infested health hazard masquerading as a hotel room. The floor is a cracked-up disaster zone; huge, gaping fissures so deep and grimy that no amount of cleaning could ever salvage them. The front door doesn’t even pretend to close there’s a permanent half inch gap that lets in a flood of hallway light and every single sound from the surrounding circus of inconsiderate guests. You’ll hear doors slamming, people screaming, kids running wild, and couples arguing at 3 a.m. like you paid extra for surround-sound misery. The bathroom “cabinet” is a pathetic, half-collapsed joke barely clinging to the wall, and the shower has zero shelving—so your shampoo and soap get to live on the disgusting floor with the roaches (yes, multiple live roaches casually s
