Buena Park Inn

The inn was a great spot for my weekend getaway. The staff were friendly and quickly got me situated with my room. The parking lot was close by and well-lit at night. The complex had plenty of lighting and visibility aids which helped me feel safe. The rooms were clean, well-kept and all the appliances worked as they should, despite looking dated. There was plenty to do nearby and seems to have a convienence store being built across the street, making late night snacks much more convienient. My stay there was comfortable, and would return at some point.

Positive: The comfortness of the bed and how cold the room would get. Negative: The limited towels, no great customer service, limited parking, and pool onsite unable to use. Also wall and ceiling room were really dirty and very old looking. No curtains for windows.

This was definitely not the cleanest hotel we've stayed in. There were stains all over the room: on the walls; ceiling; fridge; headboards; and light fixtures. The towels had spots on them. It was obvious the floors hadn't been vacuumed in a while - within five minutes of walking around barefoot, your feet are black with crumbs and hairs sticking to them. The smell of weed was prevalent throughout the whole hotel. That being said, the bed was clean and comfortable. The shower and mirrors had been cleaned very recently. I made the mistake of reading past reviews and feared the presence of cockroaches, but there were no visible signs of them. The only truly positive things about this place are the location and the price. So, discretion is heavily advised.

The location is very close to knottsberry farm which is nice, however the rooms are definetly not the cleanest. The sheets and walls have stains, however they're non-smoking rooms so they don't smell bad which is a plus. When I turned the lights on a few small roaches scattered. Overall wouldn't stay again, but I wasn't expecting much regardless.

Cleaner than most motels in the area, daily maid service. 100$ cash deposit, given back at check-out, near some food, shopping and buses. Very quiet in the back, washer and dryer, ice machines and vending machines. Decent weekly rates too.
