The Bell Athens by Kasa

Location 10 out of 10. Walked all through downtown and campus. Atmosphere 10 out of 10. The building is gorgeous. The renovations and attention to detail was impeccably done. I actually really like to contactless check in and entry. It seemed like we were the only ones there (stayed mid-week as we were passing through town). This place would be a absolutely blast to rent out all rooms for a wedding or game day weekend. The lobby is cute and cozy and the ROOFTOP is awesome!!! Since we stayed mid-week, during Christmas break, the value/price was great! Super clean. Bed was super soft. We were on the first floor on the street side, so I imagine it can get pretty loud on Thurs-Sat night when school is in, but for us it was very quiet and calm. We stayed at The Bell for parents weekend and had a great stay. The hotel has fabulous interiors with thoughtful amenities (snacks, drinks, steamer, excellent hairdryer, great linens). It is perfectly located downtown with easy walks to restaurants, etc. It has a cute space in the lobby to hangout if it is too cold for the rooftop space. Loved it!

I really want to leave a good review but The Bell is lacking in too many ways. First-the entire stay is managed through what appears to be an AI Bot that texts you throughout your stay. I am not opposed to technology BUT the bot is programmed to be rigid and lacking of solution. There are NOT any people on the premises so if you request toilet paper or a towel, the bot will text you that it has no idea when those items will get delivered to you. It’s bizarre really. The hotel stay was over $500 per night-to not know when you can have a towel or toilet paper for $500 per night!? Disappointing..Secondly, I was offered the ability to extend my stay for 2 more nights. I did elect to stay one of those nights and politely asked for a noon checkout. That request was denied. We had a lovely stay at The Bell hotel in Athens, Georgia. Charming hotel - the rooms were full of thoughtful details to make our stay comfortable. Such a cute place and convenient location. We will be back.

I was looking for a hotel that was close to Sanford stadium for a surprise trip for my wife’s birthday. Our experience from arrival to checkout was outstanding. The management and owners were beyond hospitable. The rooms were clean, modern, and they provided more than we could have asked for. Side note: best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Super cool boutique hotel with a beautiful common area with quick access to everything in Athens. They also provided appetizers and mixed cocktails on Friday evening and delicious breakfast on Saturday morning from the highly rated restaurant across the street. I will surely book here again on our next visit to Athens!
