Athens House

This was our second visit to Athens House (in town for Thanksgiving). We had a lovely stay in the cottage room. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the peaceful, secluded location made it feel like a true getaway. The cottage itself offered just the perfect amount of space, and the charming clawfoot tub was a wonderful touch. The owners are also fantastic—quick to respond to questions and always ready to assist when needed. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

Dean and Christina are wonderful hosts. The room was comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend The Athens House if you're spending some time in Athens. Also, Loki is a sweet pup that you may get to meet. The breakfast was homemade and very good too.

What a great find‼️|Very convenient to many places in Athens yet very quiet. There IS a wonderful big jacuzzi and the owners provide Teals bath salts. We’ve stayed here roughly four times and have never run out of hot water.|The owners are very gracious and will provide a wonderful breakfast you just need advise them in advance |This is our new home away from home‼️

I am SO blessed that I found Athens House for my stay in Athens. What a glorious hidden gem - and a wonderful location, so close to town, yet I felt like I was in the country. The accommodations were so nice, much larger than any hotel room, and so comfy - slept like a baby. The big bathroom and claw footed tub were nice too. And a mini fridge with a freezer - nice! The hosts, Dean & Christina, were just wonderful. They responded to me promptly with my questions, and prepared me a delicious breakfast in the morning, even accommodating me to have it one hour earlier than normal as I had training to get to. Thank you so much, I will be back for sure!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Athens House! We stayed in the Gardenia suite, and the room and bathroom were beautiful and very comfy. The bath was amazing!! The house is situated against a beautiful peaceful forest, and we also saw many cute deer. Breakfast is included and delicious, and the host was gracious to cater to my diet (I don’t eat pork or beef). We’re moving to the area shortly, and we will definitely be having our family stay at Athens house in the future. For the price, I couldn’t recommend this BnB enough.
