Hotel Indigo Athens Downtown - Univ Area by IHG

My husband and I are staying here while attending a conference at UGA. We just had dinner at the restaurant on site and it was fabulous. Our server was Ella K. and she was amazing! She made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The facility is stunning and the room is super clean. The whole experience so far has blown us away! Would 10/10 recommend. Excellent value for the price and worth every penny.

Large and lovely hotel in downtown Athens, walking distance from the U. of Georgia campus and many restaurants and shops. Highly recomend! Very professional front desk staff and large and well decorated rooms. Common areas feature a cozy seating area and a pretty bar. As this is a prime hotel in a college town, prices run on the steep side, but we expected that.....

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Indigo in Athens. The beds and mattresses were incredibly plush and comfortable, making it easy to relax. I especially loved the thoughtful lighting throughout the room and bathroom—perfect for setting the mood and creating a calming atmosphere. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower stall felt spa-like and soothing. Overall, a beautifully designed, clean, and cozy space. I’d definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Before our stay, I called with some questions and Zack was very helpful and professional. When we arrived, everyone at the front desk was very kind and accommodating, including Julia. We stayed on the top floor. The room was really nice and clean. We ordered room service and they got us our food in a timely matter- the hot food was hot and the cold was cold! The next morning we ordered a quick breakfast from the hotel and Maria and Tao were both friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel, the location and the experience were great!

My first time in Athens and stay at hotel Indigo. From check in, to grabbing a drink at the gorgeous bar…to my late night snacks from the snack provisions. EXCEPTIONAL in every way! Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful design and great service. Shanna is a PURE DELIGHT and a wonderful ambassador for the city of Athens. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
