The Beachwood

First time visiting Old Orchard Beach, and first time staying at the Beachwood. |Loved the Beachwood! |Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. |Took walks up and down the road the motel was on, and the Beachwood definitely stood out as one of the best kept motels, grounds and proximity to the beach. |The grounds were lovely, steps to the beach, perfect choice for our first visit! |We had an ocean view, and what appeared to be beautiful new outdoor seating for each room. |Room size was great with small kitchenette area, with all the supplies needed. |Did not take advantage of the pool but there were folks in it and it was a very nice area with a little pool bar. The Beachwood on OOB is great. It was our first time staying at this hotel. We have stayed at several others on the beach nearby and this by far is the best. Love the staff. Easy parking (I drive a large SUV and the parking may look tight but I did just fine getting in and out). The room was clean, good size, lots of storage. The pool area is amazing and with a bar! The light show is so fun, our daughter loved going out and dancing to it every night. Super easy walk to the beach since the beach is right there! They have umbrellas and chairs and beach toys for guests if you need them. Close to literally EVERYTHING! I think our fear about staying here in the past was what the noise would be like directly next to the amusement park but I kid you not you can barely hear anything in the room, i

My daughter & I use to come to this location many,many years ago, every year, then we bought my granddaughter at 6mths ago, then, she was 7 yrs old, now she is in her 1st year of college. I fell in love with this place the 1st time we came. We came every year. Very nice owners, they retired and son & his family took over. Made changes. God Willing would love to visit again. Always cme in August when I went on vacation. I will be retired 15yrs. God Willing 15yrs end of this year 2025.

This place is right on the beach!! We book here every year and it never disappoints! The atmosphere is awesome, everyone you encounter for staff is so friendly. The rooms have little kitchens in them and they provide a broom so you can keep the sand at bay. Rooms are very clean, as is the pool area. I love the little light show at night with the music. And if you want to call the night early they provide a noise machine! Game changer. 10/10 every year. We always come back!
