Paradise Park Resort Campground

The park itself is well kept, our site was labelled “premium” but should have been listed as simply, full hookup as there is nothing premium about a site with a dirt/stone parking area. We had a less than enjoyable experience for many reasons.|1. The front office permitted a late arrival past midnight that woke us from a sound sleep and continued to set up noisily until after 1:00am. This is against their posted policy.|2. They conducted full on construction building a fenced in area directly across from our site, beginning precisely at 8:00 multiple mornings, digging holes, using saws, hammering, carting away old wood again disturbing our sleep and showing complete disregard for their guests. We were in fact, on VACATION and perhaps would have enjoyed sleeping past 8am.|3. When we asked i

AMAZING! Awesome staff, beautiful area. When we arrived a staff member came over to assist us with backing in our camper. Super helpful staff and just an overall amazing experience. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I’ve stayed at a few of the Campgrounds in/ near old orchard and this one is by far my favourite. The staff were very friendly, and so were the other campers. Our tent site was very large and it seemed they are all that way. The bathrooms were very clean & the water pressure of the showers was incredible! This campground is so close to the beach that you can hear the waves as you fall asleep (so relaxing), it took us only about 6 minutes to walk to downtown. They must spray for mosquitoes because I didn’t see a single one the whole 4 days we were there, it was LOVELY. This was my first stay here but I will definitely be back!

The folks who run this campground are awesome! We had a last minute change in plans & needed a site on short notice and they came through for us. Didn't expect a good site but the one we got (327) was perfect for us. Back in the wooded section of the park, nice and quiet, and near the bathroom/showers. The park has sites for every type of camper, waterfront RV or tent, wooded private sites, big rig friendly, cabins, you name it. Not only does the park have a lot to offer in terms of amenities, but the location is ideal. Despite the fact that it is set back in a quiet neighborhood, you can easily walk right to all downtown attractions. Can't wait to travel here again!

A pretty nice campground, fairly well maintained, with some great amenities like pool, hot tub, paddle boat rental, laundry, and more. The problem is the people - fireworks, even though the campground says they are prohibited, kept going off well beyond the quiet hours and waking me and my family. In addition to that, there's a train that goes through OOB frequently, and it was blasting its horn almost all night long. There was no sleep to be had. If other people weren't lacking in empathy, it would definitely be a better trip.
