The hotel looked beautiful the lobby area. The rooms were perfect very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.! |I would definitely return for business and pleasure. It exceeded my expectations.|The bar at the gym, the restaurant area were conveniently located. I love that this location has many great restaurants, nearby, and shops to enjoy.

We love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok "city view," it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a "view"). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. This stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained — you can tell they truly care about the guest experience. The staff was warm, professional, and made everything feel effortless and welcoming. My room was spotless, comfortable, and gave such a relaxing vibe, which was exactly what I needed. Every detail, from the ambiance to the service, made me feel taken care of and at ease. It felt like a true self-care getaway. We enjoyed our stay at The Banyan Hotel in downtown Fort Meyers very much. We have stayed in the surrounding area on previous trips, but wanted to stay in the center of the action this time. We were not disappointed. The front desk personnel were terrific. David reprinted our keys when we both changed clothes and left our keys in the clothes we wore when walking. We invited a group of 4 additional friends to join us on the rooftop bar on Friday night. Enjoyed the Saturday night music on the street. Took one star off of the room because the curtains are starting to look tattered. They are not necessary since there are double layered roller shades. I would take the draperies and rods down. Loved the printed tiles in the shower. Shower heads were great.

Rooms were ok. Nothing spectacular. We're spacious. A comfy sitting chair would have been nice. As well as HD TV channels. No microwave. A super small fridge. One thing they have no control over is the late night road noise. Cars and motorcycles reving their engines. But, maybe a small price to pay to be in the heart of downstairs. Super close walking distance to restaurants and shops. Valet parking was $25.00 a day. Free with handicapped placards, which is a great amenity. Now the staff was awesome. Extremely pleasant, kind, courteous, and attentive. Was traveling with my 90 yo mother and the were very accommodating with her special needs. The handicapped accessible shower was a roll in for wheelchair and is spacious enough to maneuver around, but there were no grab bars for those who are
