The Ambassador Inn

So where do I begin!!!!! Absolutely a disgrace! First off the room was cute BUT the whole time we were there they had workers working in the building we were sleeping in with two toddler. Which on website it said “in the area” not the god damn building! The whole area was torn up cause it was under construction which they shouldn’t even have been renting that building out period! If I would have known it was in the same building I would have never purchased the damn thing! Couldn’t locate the building because all the numbers are either faded or fallen off! Just a disgrace would not recommend for anyone terrible experience

We just stayed here and have to say we were a bit disappointed but over all happy with our stay. The photos online look much nicer then the actual rooms. Not a huge deal but a little disappointed. The bath floor tiles were cracked, which is dangerous. The fridge leaked multiple times. We did let staff know and they did what they could. Over all the place was clean, minus the disgusting dirty dishes that I'm assuming other guests put away dirty and the trash behind the couch and gross unknown on two of the doors (maybe pizza sauce or blood??) But other wise fit the price point. And fit our family nicely. Staff was nice and friendly. Easy to talk to and get anything we needed. Loved location and ease of getting to the beach. The pool was nice too! Towels, linens, and mattresses were clean.

The pillows are not too bad. So far the room is nice. Bathroom is a little small but it works. I love how it's not far from the board walk. They have easy access to the beach and foods. The staff is nice and keeps up with things. Definitely don't get 2nd or 3rd floor if u can't use steps bc they are not easy. They don't have elevators

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. This hotel is terrible. They don’t clean the rooms. Has mold. A bird was in the bathroom ceiling (I was on the bottom floor). Ants and slugs in the bathroom. Clear foundation issues. I went to the front desk and the woman who was working wasn’t there. When she finally arrived, I was offered a BROOM for the insects. They then said that they were fully booked and I could switch to their sister hotel Tideland. I asked if it was going to be the same type of room I have or equivalent and I was told no. I was also told they wouldn’t refund me the difference. I arrive Saturday and was suppose to stay until Monday. I left Sunday. Let’s also add, when I went to their sister hotel to use the amenities there was a colony of ants enjoying a French

I have to say it was a decent experience. The condo style apartments were spacious & somewhat clean, upon entering room's someone left a fresh piece of gum on the nightstand. Customer service was average. However for the first 2 1/2 days there was no hot water or barely getting warm. It was a bit chilly the beginning of the week, so a hot shower would have been nice. Other than that I love the Ambassador Inn. I will be back & this will be where I come to. Just one street from the beach & boardwalk. Great Job Ambassador Inn.
