Texas Inn Weslaco

No housekeeping during stay Had to ask for anything I was out of. Took out my own trash ect. No ashtrays in smoking room. Pillows are flat. TV is old. Cigarette burns everywhere on blankets table tops and bathtub. Ice machine doesn't work, washer and dryer didn't work and the room phone didn't work. Also, there were Cigarette buttons ashes and corners of baggies scattered around property.

This particular hotel is a severe rip off. Charges were taken out of my card and I have yet to be issued my full refund and they have refused to acknowledge their mistakes and mentioned I stayed in this hotel which I have never been here. Horrible horrible unhinged management whom are con artists.

The room was nice and cool the only complaints I have is the light in the bathroom kept going out and the breakfast selections weren't that great. If you want low carb options you'll have to go out. Other than that it was a pleasant stay, very quiet.

My family stayed Dec 14-15,2024. In room#207. They left behind by mistake a white gold ring and a family rosary. I called the hotel today to check on the status of these items and the manager stated that no one of her staff had turn in anything. I requested to file a report do to the value of the items and she immediately hang up the call on me. I tried to call back several times , but she won’t answer my calls or transfers me to a voicemail box. Furthermore, the room was not cleaned, bed sheet were not changed from the prior guests and there was a pair of underware left behind in the bathroom. I will not recommend to stay in this hotel. The manager was very unprofessional, uneducated and needs much training to held such position that requires excellent customer service, welcoming hospita

Decent place for budget rooms. My room was clean. But did see one small roach later on. Had problems with our card keys, had to get them reprogrammed. And still sometimes dont work properly. Swimming pool looks clean, but not really. Condom wrappers in swimming pool area. Lounge chairs are all torn up. Services: had problems with top stair neighbors making a lot of noise all night long 12am-4am. Sounded like they were trowing bowling balls around. Im pretty sure if i complained to managment they wouldve done something about it. But didnt want my vehicle to get vandalized because of it. Noticed managment very strict with amount of people staying in rooms and have survelience which is a plus 👍🏽 Location: good location with lots of stores nearby
