Motel 6 Weslaco, TX

I had a very good experience overall. The staff was friendly, and everything went smoothly during my stay. The pool had a bit of debris, but that’s understandable due to the wind. There was no hair dryer or complimentary drinking water, but there were vending machines for snacks and drinks. The place looked very clean and spacious, although I personally found the bed a bit small.

We wee in a pinch and traveling with our dog. The front desk went above and beyond with taking care of our needs. I recommend anyone in the area stay there.

This was the worst experience I ever had. The staff was the most unprofessional and rude. The room wasn't cleaned right, I was wiping down tables as I walked in. The worst part was getting to my room then leaving within less than an hour of getting our bags and settling in to come back to being purposely locked out of my room with my belongings stuck inside. As I walked down wondering if my key wasn't working the front lady says we need to speak to a manager who proceeds to tell us there was a noise complaint below us (keep in mind we were gone the whole time). The front desk lady actually saw us leave and saw us return and she knew we were gone the whole time while they were locking us out and even as she saw us go up the elevator she did not have the common professionalism to stop us and

The staff at this hotel was unprofessional and inconsiderate. The front desk clerk gave out our name to a stranger, which allowed him to sneak into our room while housekeeping was cleaning. He attempted to steal our belongings—thankfully, he only managed to take some waters and teas before being stopped. The maintenance worker noticed something suspicious, intervened, and made the stranger return our things. At that point, the stranger already had our luggage and personal items in hand, ready to walk out. While we’re extremely grateful to the maintenance employee for stepping in, the rest of the staff—including the manager—failed to take accountability. The Indian guy and wife employees kept going in our room when we where not in our rooms we had a baby cam recording so our things wouldn't come up missing when we reviewed it u can can clearly see them going in looking through things when she tried it when I was in the room she accused me of smoking in the room with a 2 month year old baby in there with me, she never knocked just went in then when I comforted her she got loud and said I was smoking do not recommend especially with kids there weirdos!!!
