Texas Inn Motel

This is a great motel, located in the center of Terrell TX. The location is perfect, as it's nearby lots of businesses, like restaurants, stores, and gas stations. The rooms here are priced very well, and they are decently sized. When you come here, there are a variety of options for renting rooms, based on what is available at the time you come. 1 bed or 2 bed rooms, smoking or non-smoking rooms, upstairs and downstairs rooms, etc. Each room will be priced accordingly. (Know that "Room 101" is not a rentable room.) Customers who want to smoke need to get a smoking room, and they can't have a non-smoking room. Have to say that after reading the reviews before coming I was shocked to have a very different opinion of this great little hotel. Staff was great and very understanding of our situation. I was in process of moving, when the land owner became very hostile. We literally had twenty minutes to get everything in our RV and hookup before hauling backside down the road to here. Unloaded everything in matter of minutes so the new owners of RV could be on their way. They staff stayed with me as others came to get my belongings loaded and to our storage unit. Owner has always had a big smile on his face and laughter in his heart. I'm still here till our apartment is available and ready for move in. Great rooms next to historic down town great customerservice clean rooms doest lack restaurants or bars but walmart 2 miles train traffic is busy if you like trains your place does not make it quiet 400 am on your getting up if your quite sleeper constantly trains in and out on the back side of hotel get front view if you need quiet time

At first seemed ok. But after a few nights I was bitten up by bed bugs. The plumbing was not working half the time. Raggedy towels were hanging in the room. It became a nightmare . This place needs to be reported for health code violations. ! Honestly it should not even be open it is a roach and bug infested hotel. That's the truth.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! The owner is saying I have too much stuff after he his took my money for the whole week $55 a night that I have paid for 7 days. This is not right he takes my money and then tells me I have too many things … I will be contacting better business bureau. Not to mention roaches and bed bugs.
