TC Horse Camp

Couldn't ask for a better place! It's just the right size. Bathrooms and showers were super clean. Nice big covered stalls. Felt very safe leaving our boys when we needed to venture into town. The hosts, Pat and Michelle were amazing. They make you feel like friends from way back when. And the really nice feature is being able to walk out one of their gates right into the Black Hills National Forest for trails with awesome views.

I stayed all summer with my two quarter horse geldings. Hauled out to other trails, Galena, Hells Canyon, French Creek, Mystic Michelson trail,(had supper at Moonshine Grill in Rochford) several parts of Centennial Trail through Black Elk Wilderness, Lakota Lake via Mt. Rushmore, and many more. This is absolutely the best place to stay if you love camping with horses and riding a lot!! Campers are not on top of each other, the horse facilities are great. There is showers and laundry available. All things one needs, groceries, pharmacy, medical facilities, are conveniently available in Custer. A great farrier is readily available. I cannot say enough good things about this camp and the owners! The hosts are super friendly and accommodating! The camp is small and private- its own little piece of paradise! The cabin was comfortable and had what I needed. The horse stalls are plenty big and well built. The location is close to many areas of interest and the riding is fantastic! Can't wait to come back!

Our first time staying here. We loved the low key...quiet atmosphere. Our mules had nice stalls. The shower houses were nice and clean. The trails were great....alot of nice riding. Pat and Michelle were very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Great place to camp!

We cannot say enough great things about our stay with TC Camp! The facilities were clean and well kept and the horse stalls were sturdy and well kept. The location and proximity of trails is amazing. We can't wait to visit again.
