French Creek Horse Camp

This is a very welcoming horse camp. The horse pens are covered and a nice size. They are working at getting hydrates to each set of pens which will really improve the experience. Right now bring a bucket and water or water at the creek. The trails are beautiful and well marked, maps avail too.

This was a beautiful campground. The camp hosts, horse stalls, and cabin were great. The shower house was nice and it was really cool to see the wildlife in camp.

We stayed at French Creek Horse Camp while hiking the 124 mile Centennial Trail and it was by far our favorite spot. Gorgeous camping along French creek with a resident buffalo and baby mountain goat. But it was the people there that made it special. Sonja, the camp host was just wonderful. She directed us to a fresh water source and even offered us freeze pops as it was an extremely hot day. Sonja made us feel so very welcome. All the horse campers were friendly, facility was clean and well kept. Highly recommended!

Way off the main road. Well maintained, the restrooms/showerrooms were clean. Trails out of the park were great. Only down side was no water at the far corrals. Cabins were nice, clean and air conditioned.

The campground is beautiful and very well maintained. Shower house/bathroom is exceptional! The camp hosts Bob and Crystal Bell are the nicest people and were super helpful. We will definitely go back.
