Taos Canyon Stop RV Park

This is a great little place to camp if you prefer more of a country feel. There are some great spots here surrounded by trees. Some sights are pull-throughs. There is probably some limitations for toy hauler though. I suggest contacting them to determine that. The owner is so sweet and helpful. Lots of folks here have ATVs. There is also a 9-hole golf course about a mile into the mountains. There is also a fishing pond and stream on the property. We liked this place over all those in town near all the tourists because we are surrounded by mountains and trees. We had fun playing the 9-hole course.

Beautiful place. Very clean with good drainage, heavy rain no mud. Nice meadows and ponds. Great bird watching, lots of humming birds and a small flock of geese with their goslings. Stay here and enjoy the canyon drive to Taos.

Last minute stop on our trip throughout the Southwest. Immediately noticing the views of the canyon made it all worth the stop. Quiet place well kept and the showers/restrooms were the magic touch! The family loved it and my dogs love it.

We loved staying at the Taos Canyon Stop RV Park. Tiffany put us off by ourselves since we were a bigger rig and planned on staying at least a week. She has a fire pit that you can use if you request. 😊 She is super chill and even enjoyed a fire with us one evening. She has big plans for this park and we can’t wait to come back to see them. If it weren’t for the cold moving in, we would have stayed a little longer.

We had a very pleasant experience staying here for three nights at this park. Our original plans were disbursed camping, but when we got back to our site out on Forest Service, somebody had set up their camp right next to us and we decided we would rather be in a park with rules if someone is going to park right next to us. There were only about three or four of us in the park the whole time which was very quiet. Everyone was nice. My only complaint was the bathroom trailers are loud from the fan, so if you’re looking for more quiet, I would request a site furthest away from them as we were right above them.
