El Pueblo Lodge

Rooms are large, we had a kitchenette, fireplace & small balcony! Love the park like setting with trees & grass. We sat out in the afternoon & was very peaceful. Breakfast was amazing & staff were so friendly & helpful. Never had time to use the pool but it looked very nice. We walked to the plaza, a bit of a walk but doable (a mile maybe?)

Very clean and tidy rooms , bathrooms and the whole property in general. Rooms are spacious and the property has a rustic feel, does not feel like a regular hotel. Had a very comfortable stay, would definitely visit again when coming to Taos. Prices are reasonable for the area, and they provide hot coffee/hot chocolate throughout the evening. Hot breakfast is also served , which included tacos, scrambled eggs, cereal, toast etc ( and some non veg option too ). They have a hot tub to relax after a day of skiing. About 30mins drive to the skiing.

Positive: Unique. Wonderfully updated and well kept. All the staff was super friendly and attentive. Wonderful non typical breakfast, afternoon snacks and a quiet place to read and relax. Negative: I wish the outdoor pool was heated. It was a little to nippy to be comfortable and I wanted to swim.

My friend and I had an excellent three-night stay at El Pueblo Lodge in Taos, NM. We stayed on the second floor in a two-queen room, and everything exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable, and both the room and the overall property had a charming New Mexico feel that really added to the experience. One highlight that deserves special mention is the complimentary breakfast. The spread available each morning was excellent and far better than what you typically find at similar properties. Not every room includes a wood-burning fireplace, so if that’s something you’re looking for, be sure to request one when booking—it’s definitely worth it. I can’t explain how much we enjoyed our stay here last week! We checked in one evening and were offered free cookies and chips/salsa. The lady at the desk was absolutely the sweetest. Very pet friendly and lots of nice grass around for your pet. The rooms are nice and the fireplace was great! We felt as though our vehicle was safe as we had a sled on the back and nobody messed with it. The breakfast was very nice and there were lots of options. A kind lady even came to our table and offered to refill my husband’s coffee which was something we had never experienced at a continental breakfast. The cook was working so hard and was very nice. Beautiful breakfast area with a fire. This will definitely be our Taos hotel from now on!
