Tahoe Mountain Inn

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the host was super responsive. The 3 of us stayed in a 2 bed / 1 bath (room #17). Everything was so spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked with every spice imaginable! The location was great, right on the main road not too far from the gondola. Highly recommend!

Definitely one of my top hotel experiences in the U.S. This hotel is obviously just renovated because everything is extremely clean and new. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious for two. The in-room fridge and coffee machine are very convenient. Our room doesn't have a microwave but the kitchen nearby has everything you need. It's on the main street but it's quiet at night. They even provide earplugs! The price is much lower compared to other places in South Lake Tahoe. We booked on an OTA so we didn't receive the check-in instructions. They don't have an office/front desk on site, so I texted them and they responded very quickly with the door code. The check-in/out processes are seamless. The shower floor is slippery though, so be careful when you step in.

This place is a total win—straight-up 10/10. Rooms are super clean, feel really nice, and the price is honestly a steal. Location is perfect, everything’s close by. Staff are genuinely kind and on top of things. We had a tiny issue with our first room and they moved us to a better one in like five minutes, no drama. The little kitchen is so cute and actually well-thought-out—makes staying here feel way more comfortable than your average hotel. Loved it. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was small, but was able to fit a large bed and a bunk bed in the corner. Everything was clean and modern looking. The beds were comfortable and heater worked, so there was really nothing to complain about. The shared kitchen was clean and nice, we were able to cook breakfast and dinner during our stay. Communication was great and we were able to enjoy our stay without any issues. I highly recommend staying at Tahoe Mountain Inn!

Had a nice stay at this very clean and cute nook. Loved how the bedroom was set up with the bunk beds and queen, perfect for 3 people. It was small but they made every part of that room efficient enough for 3 people to stay comfortably. Very walkable to food spot. Would stay here again.
