Surftides Oceanfront Hotel

Loved my stay here. We did the double queen with a balcony and a seaview and it was fantastic. It’s an older hotel with some modern features bur is supwr clean. And not a bad price if u use booking.com Excellent service at the front desk from a woman named Joy, went above and beyond.

Staff was very friendly and the view was great, but I don’t know that I’d stay again. Beds were very uncomfortable and hard, walls were thin, the people above us were very loud and could hear everything. I was really disappointed by the pool area and wish the set up was better advertised. I was really looking forward to sitting in the hot tub while my kid swam but they were in two separate rooms in the pool area. Half the reason we even came was to do that, had I known it wasn’t even an option I would have booked somewhere else, but that of course was not pictured at all.

Horrible! Initial room was full of Bed Bugs! I was bit several times on the first night, they moved us to another room that was much cleaner but still having to uproot our family of 4 was a pain. Everything in the Hotel was "out of order" ice machine, elevator, snack and soda machines. Floors were super dirty. Keep in mind our 5-day stay was outrageously expensive almost $300 a night, we had stayed in the past and had decent stays considering their beach access is really good and convenient. When checking out the manager offered no discount, simply said that he would have a team come in and inspect the room for bed bugs and that someone would reach out to address the issue. we also lost our airpods in the room, which we have now tracked several times at the Surftides property in use and wo

Positive: View Negative: The fireplace was not working and staff lied to me twice about it—first when I booked, I called to make sure there was a working fireplace and a second time when we got there, they tried to tell us it was decorative.

I had a great stay. The view from my very spacious balcony was amazing!!! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because of it being an older hotel, you can hear through the walls/floors/ceiling. It is very well maintained and staff was super friendly! Will definitely stay again.
