Super 8 by Wyndham Wichita South

Where do I start with this place? If I could do 0 stars I would. The toilet leaks they won’t fix or give us a new room. I found dead bugs on the floor there is so much damage to the walls and ceiling. Pictures have been taken to make sure we don’t get charged for them. The front desk isn’t helpful at all. Asked me why I have service dogs which is illegal to ask what they are for. I had to have a $100 for a deposit for a non smoking room. I would stay far away from this place. Never again. This by far has been the worst experience I e ever had at a hotel.

This hotel is good for a quick stay on a road trip - I wouldn't necessarily pick it for long term. The parking lot isn't in the best shape if you drive a larger vehicle or truck, you'll need to mind the large pot holes. The property and rooms were fairly clean, but clearly aged. The breakfast was fresh and the dining area was roomy. There was some loud noise, but that was from inconsiderate guests and had nothing to do with the hotel.

It was really embarrassing the fact that I chose this hotel for my Valentines surprise. It was absolutely awful. It was so outdated, the elevator had no light, the breakfast was horrible, the customer service was beyond a disadvantage. The woman that helped checking in was awful, no personality and dressed casual. The owners live in the hotel and were very comfortable in their attire. They made me feel unimportant. My guest was unhappy as well as me. The room was old and aged. The shower had mold. The bed was old and covering was Overused . The toilet didn't flush appropriately. The door didn't lock accordingly. The carpet was awful. The mini fridge made noise that disrespected our sleep. The curtains didn't help with the lighting. The TV was out dated. It said 8.1 out of 10 on the do

Check in was easy. The room had paint peeling in the bathroom. Breakfast had chocolate muffins hard enough for David to kill Goliath. When I took one to the check out counter and told the man there, he acted like he didn’t understand me and I for sure couldn’t understand a word he said.
