Super 8 by Wyndham St. Petersburg

My lesson learned is to stop shopping for hotel rooms by price. This hotel had the best price around for a long weekend trip and the online photos looked OK. The actual place is in disrepair, sparsely furnished and barely clean. There is the smell of weed around the propert both at night and during the day. The staff were all quite nice but there was no daily cleaning or towel replacement. The lobby has no furniture and there is no place to have a seat on the property with the exception of the pool area. It had chairs but was never open in the mid to late morning. The breakfast is a basket of assorted granola bars, some juice and weak coffee that is only supplied until 9 a.m. and seems to run out before then. The bathroom sink faucet was loose. We stay at this hotel everytime we're in town, and it is the absolute best! Staff is courteous, friendly, and extremely prompt and responsive to any and all questions or concerns that may arise. Rooms are always spotlessly clean and fully stocked with all essential toiletries and linens. Would recommend this hotel to everyone that I know. 5 stars. Thank you Super 8 St Petersburg!

Positive: Nothing roaches everywhere crawled all over me while I slept and had to leave to sleep in my car Negative: Every thing was absolutely horrible roaches all over the room and bed no one should have to stay somewhere like that

MOLD!!!!! Do not come here unless you want to end up sick. I stayed here 2 nights and the first night we randomly started to smell a really strong smell of bleach which i assume is the cleaner they use. It was so strong we couldn’t smell anything else, it was coming through the vents of our room. We woke up sick coughing and sneezing and went on with our day. Second night we didn’t smell any strong smells of bleach so we didn’t say anything about switching rooms thinking it would be fine, but we could not even sleep through the night without waking up multiple times coughing and sneezing and having allergy like symptoms. We noticed moisture spots throughout the room and are both very sick after our stay here. Also there are small roaches throughout the room. Oh yeah can’t forget the crime

IThe reason why I put this review the housekeepers were very good and very nice there are a couple of receptionist that were okay it's the young man that wear glasses the heavy set Caucasian woman with blonde hair and the tall African woman she was very nice and very pleasant you know they had a very great customer skills they understood what it was that I needed when I needed it which is I didn't need very much of anything however the general manager was a very harsh speaking tone woman she listened to her front desk representative that is like younger like in her 20s or something with almost like an orange auburn hair she pretty much what lies say Snoopy things to me and my family make smart comments and smart remarks and it was like for two solid days she can't bothering with me and my
