Super 8 by Wyndham Shreveport

Awful place! We didn't expect the Hilton, but wow, this place is really bad. Booked through Expedia, it offered free Airport shuttle service, well, they don't, so we had to pay for a paid ride. The room looked clean until the roaches came out. Bathtub didn't drain, hairs everywhere in the bathroom. Mentioned these things to the desk clerk and he couldn't have cared less.

Positive: "" Negative: Poor water pressure. Didn’t feel like I had rinsed shampoo from my hair the pressure was so weak. Doors were ill fitting and wouldn’t close properly.

It was a big disappointment. The room looked clean until you look behind the bed and in closets. Roaches were a big problem. I reported it to the manager several times and nothing was done.

No frills. Very nice bed. This was my second time staying there in 10 days, because of the bed. Renovated room. Someone got up early on a Sunday so that I would have coffee before hitting the road. And the coffee was nice. Very nice bonus! Thank you!

Our room was nice enough but on the carpet of the floor, in the area between the sink and the bedroom where the carpet and tile meet, there was a tack strip of upside down tacks the carpet covered but the pad did not. That tack strip came through the carpet and pierced your foot if you stepped on that area without shoes on. Who wants to wear shoes the entire time but should (as both my feet discovered the tack strip)? And who can remember to step over that area in the middle of the night after waking up to go in a hurry to the restroom (as one foot of my significant others found out)? So, needless to say, we both ended up with at least one sore foot for 3 days following our stay. The location is great because the airport is minutes away. The price was decent for the area.
