Super 8 by Wyndham Plattsburgh

DISGUSTING!!! We got a room here and upon entering the room 5 minutes after we paid for it we discovered the place to be infested with roaches. We immediately demanded a refund but the clerk said he dropped the money we had just given him off at 10 at night. Still have not received refund. Do not go here it is full of section 8 overflow and they bring their bugs in their luggage, nearly every amenity door is locked, and there is water damage throughout the entire building.

The most disgusting hotel we’ve ever stayed at rooms were dirty sheets were stained. The breakfast bar only had dry cereal and a waffle maker no eggs, sausage or bacon or anything no pastries nothing and a jug of watered down orange juice. Absolutely disgusting place to stay and the pool was only open from 3 to 9 and the doors were open. The water had to be 40° couldn’t even go in not heated. Find somewhere else. Do not waste your money here.

Everything else was fully booked due to Airline issues in Canada. I feel lucky to have gotten a room, until I saw the huge stain on the couch. It looked like it was going on the sidewalk. I did not use the shower but a fellow guest said that the water took nearly an hour to drain when he did. Lights and air-conditioning worked, the chain for the door was missing but a bolt was available. Clean towels and soap available.

Positive: The room was clean, the towels were plentiful, shower was hot and the room was bright. Negative: The entry way to the hotel the light was broken I had to drive by several times to find it. The mattress was hard.. No ironing board. Refrigerator was not cold. The heating / cooling system was not working. The shower was stained.

Positive: Location Negative: The towels had stains on them and the room smelled strange. The gentleman followed me to my room from the front desk but didn't say anything to me until I got to my door. He wanted to check the bathroom ? It was unnerving since I was traveling by myself.
