Super 8 by Wyndham Marion NC

Where do I start... we got late check out because we are members of Wyndham gold rewards, so checkout was at 1. Confirmed it with front desk when we checked in. Around 10am housekeeping knocked on door, told her we had late checkout. Layed back down, hour passes and she knocks on the door again at 11am, wakes my husband up, he tells her we got late check out. At this point we are not being rude or raising our voices, just getting annoyed. About 20 minutes passes and I guess manager "Karen", dont know her name, comes to door beating like shes the dang SWAT or something, full of attitude. Explain to her. My question is do they not know how to check there system? She leaves, tells us to calm down...lol We were being nice. Annoyed! She never came back to apologize or anything. Now that part is

Room was fine. Clean. As I expected for the reasonable price. I didn't notice any restaurants nearby but there is a BP station next door and a Dollar General next to the station.

Super eight in Marion, was an excellent day the location was convenient to my purposes. The property was clean and orderly. Everything in the room was douche and clean, and the staff was completely professional yet friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone going through the area and wanting to stay overnight, the price was excellent, and the service was equally good

When we first got to the hotel it was snowing and Patrick assisted me great customer service willing to help and assist with other things he is probably the best service I've gotten at any hotel to be honest with you, it was the closest hotel that we could get in find without getting snowed in. Rooms decent there were some things that wasn't really clean but what do you expect at a Super 8, overall if I was stuck again I would come back....and ask for Patrick.

This is a typical Super 8. It's a party place for local drug users and traveling construction workers. I'm from the area and thought from the looks of the place outside things had changed so we gave it shot. In 18 years the only change is the outside looks better than it used to look. It as well as the hotel across the street is frequented by drug users and dealers. There is lots of drinking outside and partying going on. The room we got was dirty. Mainly the bathroom and around the bathroom door. There was black mold on the ceiling and the ceiling was falling in above the bathtub. There was something dripping from the door frame of the bathroom and what looked like blood on the wall near the light switch outside the bathroom. Owners or managers told us they didn't have another room availa
