Little Switzerland Inn

Staff were very friendly. However, we were planning our annual Christmas girls trip around visiting the restaurant and Peppermint Pub. We were contacted about an hour before our arrival to let us know to go next door for check in. I asked about the restaurant and the staff member said the restaurant and pub was closed due to company Christmas party. I feel we should have been notified when booking the restaurants were closed. There is no other restaurants near by. Very disappointed to have planned a trip around experiencing the Peppermint Pub.

My husband and I love to stay here for the quiet respite and spectacular views. Came before new owners took over and now after and everything from the service, cleanliness and amazing staff hasn't changed a bit, we are always taken care of and leave wanting to plan the next visit. Food was good, not spectacular but with the views and amazing service we didn't mind a bit. Hurricane damage still all around this area but you wouldn't have guessed from the hotel experience.

Location and scenery is incredible. Hard to find a better view. Rooms that we've stayed in have been nice with mostly nice views of the mountains unless you get a room on the front side. One issue is that the TVs hardly ever work. They have Apple TV boxes attached and they are not great. We stayed this year and last year and both times (in different rooms) we had issues getting the TV to work. We wouldn't have spent much time watching it, but you'd expect them to at least function in the case that you wanted to watch TV. The other issue is that they are often understaffed. We've had multiple times where we were at the pub (The Foul Play I think?) That is attached to the Inn and the waitresses would barely check up on us. We've sat around for 15-30 minutes with empty drinks as they walked

I would not waste my time at this place. For they think that truckers shouldn't use their jakebrake. That is a safety issue for truckers

Went here to eat lunch and plug the car in in the parking lot near the hotel while eating lunch. Level two chargers that work very well just plug in and charge no need to pay for the charging.
