We enjoyed staying here for a weekend with some friends. The sites are close enough that we could enjoy each other's company but still have our own space and set up. The sites were clean. The picnic tables and fire pits were in great shape. Trash bins close to each section of sites. Staff was friendly and laid back. The shower house was clean and appreciated. Water pressure wasn't too strong but it gets the job done. The location is great as it is right on the lake. We brought our boat foe the weekend and the boat ramp is next door. There is also some trails on site that we enjoyed walking that led to the properties fishing dock and picnic/park area, which was also very nice and clean. We would come back for sure.

We stayed one night at this campground. Pros: • The place is new and very, very clean. No trash anywhere. • The bathrooms were an absolute pleasure – heated rooms, hot water, and spotless. Cons: • Nobody was in the office, so we couldn’t check in properly. • We also wanted to buy firewood, as advertised on the website, but since everything was locked and no one was around, we had no access to it. • The trails are quite primitive. There is no lake access and not even a view of the lake, even though it’s very close by. Instead, it’s just some paths cut through the woods.

Without question, the nicest campground I've visited on my extended camping tour. The facilities are stellar and the staff was pleasant and very helpful. The tent sites are very nice and there are cabins available as well. The cabins are a great bargain and provided a nice break after living in a tent for a few weeks. There's a nice network of trails surrounding the site, and Lake James is just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

Beautiful campgrounds. I camped in a “primitive” campground but short walk to the campsite including water/bathrooms. Very clean. Beautiful views of the lake. Peaceful. Showers with hot water on the campgrounds. Beautiful trails, friendly staff. Thank you for an awesome birthday. Will be visiting again.

This is a great campground everything look new the bathrooms are very clean hot showers. The site are nice size and room for two vehicles. The gentleman that runs the place is super nice and had my fire wood already at the site when I arrived. Can’t say enough good things about this campground loved it.
