Super 8 by Wyndham Longview/North

I stay at a lot of Super Eight’s. But, this location in Longview stands out. My room had zero smell of smoking (a truly disgusting smell). The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean. No unwanted guest either. No roaches, no spiders. I don’t like being awakened with either crawling on me. Not here. Stay away from Super Eight in Tyler, Tx!

You have to pay at $50 deposit up front incase you break something. One of the girls got eye shadow on the sheet and I didn't get my deposit back. It would wash out. That's all they could fine to keep the money. Nit happy.

No complaints. Room was clean and staff was great. I stayed for 11 nights. Kroger is conveniently across the Street. Rooms have a microwave and a mini fridge. They put long stays upstairs. $50 refundable deposit upon check in.

Beds are brand new with new sheets. The in-room lounge chairs are a little dated. Floors are good quality, bathroom is clean and updated. Plenty of lighting and TV has a decent amount of channels. Coffee pot, fridge and microwave seem to be in new condition. Overall a good inexpensive stay!!

Positive: The karaoke bar in the hotel club is fun. Close to weekend night time hot spots. Cheap and convenient. Not a hotel for families. Negative: This is a smoking hotel. Be prepared to smell like smoke when you leave.
