Staybridge Suites Longview by IHG

My stay here was great! Rooms and all areas were always really clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and greeted you with a smile every time. They offer refreshments almost every day and makes the stay feel more like you are visiting family. Rosa, from the kitchen staff, was amazing! Every morning she would always make sure to greet you and check in with a smile. If you needed anything, she got you. I would honestly go back just because of how amazing of a service she and the rest of the staff provided.

Definitely pros and cons about this property. The location was great, and the staff was awesome. After arriving I realized the deadbolt on the door wasn’t working. After contacting the front desk, the maintenance man arrived and had it fixed within 15 minutes. Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and very helpful. The only negative I experienced was the noise coming from other rooms. You can sometimes hear complete conversations from the room next door. The walls are very thin, and during three of the ten nights that I stayed, I could hear someone snoring through the wall.

Overall, hotel experience was great. It is located near a lot of restaurants. The property was nice and maintained. Breakfast had a good selection. Dove products in the restroom. Laundry was free. The indoor pool still allowed for the elements. It has windows that allowed outside temperature in so you can't swim in the winter. There is no hot tub or at least I didn't see it. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Only problem was with the tv. After a conversation with the front desk, phone call, and email, that was resolved. Someone came and reprogrammed the tv. Breakfast was good. Location seems safe.

This may be the best 3-star hotel I have ever visited so far. The location is wonderful, the atmosphere was decent, the food was not atrocious in any way, and the service was fair. My only complaint was a rusty bathroom vent and a weak-pressure shower (I requested a fix or replacement of the bathroom tub spout, but with no luck).

Staybridge is a great hotel to stay at. My wife and I can't really eat out at restaurants due to medical reasons, so to have the kitchen area is great. Longview is our local Staybridge and for our 2nd full date night in 16 years, it was a wonderful stay. The staff were polite and the hotel was very clean. The room was clean and linens were clean. The only issue with the room was the esthetics. Cabinet doors not aligned causing them to not close all the way and the refrigerator not leveled properly were the only things that were wrong. Having to go behind other maintenance workers myself, this is just the sign of someone being in a rush and not caring about their job. All in all. It is a great Hotel for a good stay.
