Super 8 by Wyndham Long Island City LGA Hotel

I had a positive 4-star experience here. The service and location were the definite highlights of my stay, both earning a solid 4-star rating for making my trip convenient and pleasant. The rooms were dependable and met the standard 3-star expectation I had for a comfortable visit.

Don't book with them, definitely not worth your time or money! I called to inquire about hourly rates and a man at the front desk was beyond rude! All I said was that I couldn't hear him clearly over the phone, he became frustrated instantly and hung up the call on me. I called again to ask why he hung up and he did it again. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional, I didn't get a name but he sounded like had an Indian accent.

Do not stay here! I reserved a room for a few nights based off of reviews I saw on Expedia....my mistake. The reviews on Google are more accurate. Please do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and book somewhere else. The entire place smells like weed and the shower didn't work in the room that we were given. I reached out to Expedia to ask about the refund policy after we checked in and they told me to hold so that they could speak to the front desk staff. As soon as they got off the phone with her, she came to our room, banging on the door, yelling "why didn't you tell me there was a problem?!". We told her our issues and she gave us the room next door. Once we were in there (and extremely upset), we decided to just book another place. The second room also smelled and we didn't feel comfo

It served its purpose as far as parking, a comfortable bed, tv with internet. But for the price, I don’t think it was worth it. I thought they offered a continental breakfast by the picture they have posted online, but it’s only a packaged dry pastry and a granola bar. Coffee or tea with milk, and orange juice. There was no cereal even though they have bowls. Breakfast is from 6-9, I went at 7. I didn’t see any traces of anything else offered. And having breakfast included in the price was my search option, so I would have chosen a different cheaper option for an another hotel, had I known. There is some chipping paint, stains on the lamp shade and rusted tin in the bathroom, and a small low toilet. That’s the only complaint’s I have. I was on the 2nd fl, and the rooms are not soundproof,

Positive: Free parkingClose to where I needed to be. Negative: The breakfast was a granola bar (one type), milk, tea or coffee only. My room door didn't lock and the ac didn't work properly.
