Super 8 by Wyndham Keystone/Mt. Rushmore

We needed a motel room last minute just for 1 night while in the area & they had one available. It's an old hotel, very basic, nothing fancy at all, hasn'tbeenupdatedsincewho knowswhen...but our room was clean, bed was pretty comfy (way better than what we expected), hot water for showers, microwave, mini refrigerator. It was very quiet, we heard no noise at all during the night, & we liked the 'grab-&-go' breakfast the next morning...it's a good idea, actually. Staff was friendly. Internet didn't work at all, which was the main drawback, especially if you were staying more than 1 night & really needed internet access. I've found that to be the case at pretty much every Super 8 I've ever stayed at...no internet access, even though they advertise as having it. What's the deal, Super 8??

The location is good for staying a night for visiting Mount Rushmore. The staff is very helpful. She helped us to change a room we needed. We had a very good sleep. The only comment is about the breakfast which is very simple.

We had the suite for a family of 4 lots of room. Dated but clean. Staff were super nice and helpful. It was located on a nice strip close to food and shopping. Recommend staying here! Only downfall was the internet was down and after a long travel day it would have been nice to not use our data.

Positive: Right down the road from Mount Rushmore: 2 miles. Walking distance into town for shops, meals, attractions. Negative: Walls are thin. You can hear people next-door on their phones, hear their TV. Hear people above if they are walking heavy, dropping big items.Bagged breakfast with fruit cup past "best by" expiration date.

Friendly staff. The room left a lot to be desired. The pull out couch has seen better days. The room was not terrible after that. You can hear everything and one around you. It's not a quiet place.
