Backroads Inn & Cabins

We were in the Miners Cabin. This was a delightful and peaceful place to spend a few days. We loved that it was close to so many great places, like Custard State Park, Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and the Needles Highway. It was a quiet surroundings, and the other guests were friendly. The cabin is tastefully decorated and had all the items we needed to make our stay comfortable. It is best suited for 2 guests. We loved sitting on the open porch in the morning with our coffee and enjoyed the s'mores provided by a cozy fire. A great find for sure ! Thank you

We stayed in Hugo Cabin and had a wonderful experience! Great location - close enough to attractions but removed enough where you felt genuine peace and relaxation, away from all the city chaos. Cabin was clean, well-maintained, and full of amenities (like S'MORES!). I would choose to stay in the Backroads Inn & Cabins over a hotel any day! Definitely had a home away from home experience and looking forward to our next stay!

The cabin is nestled nicely into a convenient yet private location near Keystone. The cabin layout focuses on a large well stocked kitchen next to a larger dining room that allows easy access between family cooking and board games for families. The open layout gives visual access to the living room area yet the living room has a feel of privacy for conversations. The view from windows or from the deck provides the solitude of the Black Hills. The entrance from the basement allows plenty of entry space for boots and jackets as well a family room for a second gathering area complete with extra bedrooms. A very nice vacation location!

We loved our stay in the Blue Bird cabin! The cabin was cozy, clean, and just the right amount of space for our family of 4. It was stocked with all the essentials we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was very well kept. We enjoyed sitting outside and having fires each night. Our kids swam in the pool and had fun exploring all around the area. It's a nice location - only about 5 minutes from Keystone. We highly recommend staying here for you visit to SD!

Great place in the hills to enjoy the outdoors. The cabin is tucked away in the hills outside of Keystone, SD. Only a few other neighbors, It is perfect for a couple and maybe a small child. Very clean and updated. The s'more's packs is a great idea! I would stay again 😃 Melody
