Magnuson Grand Rushmore View

We stayed in the newer RV park because of our length. We extended our stay. The staff are very nice and helpful. I use a cane and can still make it to most of the activities and shopping as well as dining. My only complaint is that we could not find one trash can anywhere. That is not a reason to avoid this place though. We walk 60 feet from our RV and see Mount Rushmore. Highly recommend a stay here. Beautiful town and people

The view of Mount Rushmore was great. the room we were in could have used some attention as there were some things that needed repair. if we would not have received a discounted price, the reg price 159.99 we would not have stayed it definitely was not worth that price.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I asked typical tourist questions about what to see and where to eat and the staff gave great recommendations. The coffee from the machine in the lobby is surprisingly good as well! And yes, you can see a side profile of MOUNT RUSHMORE from the parking lot and from some of the room balconies. So add "conveniently located" to the list. Comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay when visiting Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.

This place is 5-stars for what it is, which is a clean, comfortable room as close to Mt. Rushmore as you can get. BE AWARE that this is an OLD property, as most/many of the hotels in the surrounding area are. So, you’re not going to get a large, sprawling lobby, elegant decor, shiny new furnishings, etc. The air conditioning unit is a bit noisy, but it works. That being said, it is evident that the owners have invested themselves in making the most of what they have, with comfortable bedding, the addition of mini fridges and microwaves to the rooms, and a coffee/tea bar in the lobby stocked with fresh coffee all day. Most importantly, the rooms are CLEAN! Everything is in good repair and clean, and that’s what matters most! This place offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay for your trip t
