Super 8 by Wyndham Joliet I-55 N/Chicago

My last experience was horrible! There was a fight happening in the room next to ours at about midnight. shouting and tussling was not what I expected to hear for most of the night. Definitely sounded like a domestic violence situation which I would think would be deemed serious at this kind of place. I called the front desk numerous times about it, got told that they’re taking care of it. Called again at about 2am, same answer but also got told that there was no noise when they went up there. It wasn’t until 3am when my partner went down to request a different room that we were finally able to get another room to rest! Not once did I see them administer consequences to whoever was causing the disturbance either which I would think is a violation of their policy. Definitely wish they would

Positive: Staff was very kind. Even maintenance Negative: AC went out overnight. No one offered a discount for the inconvenience

The bathroom ceiling had an active leak with mold. I awoke to standing water on the bathroom floor. When I reported it, I was told “thanks for letting us know.” There was no apology or compensation. Breakfast also had very limited options. Worst stay ever.

Arrived at 9:30pm to check in and night person seemed highly agitated when I was asking questions as if he had an issue. When I got to the room around 2:20 the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling by wires. There was old food in the microwave. Stains on the pillowcases and the room immediately smelled like weed when I walked in. The next morning I went down for breakfast with my children and all they had was cereal and toast. My child spilt a bit of cereal out of the dispenser, so I asked her to clean her apartment mess and she pulled the trashcan near the counter and the guy beginning to yell at her because she moved it. From the very beginning, I did not. I feel like even bringing it to the attention because it was so late and I had two toddlers with me, but this wasn’t even worth w

I didn't have any problems with checking in. Gentleman was very helpful. The room was fine until I took a shower and found the tub didn't drain properly and the floor was wet. The tub was cracked and leaking onto the floor. On the morning of October 6th, 2025 , at 5:35 ,I went downstairs to the breakfast room and sat at a table to take care of something on my phone not wishing to disturb my partner sleeping. I was told by the service desk man, a guy about 5'8" 180 lbs, black hair, medium dark skin toned, a dark green long sleeve shirt and medium green pants, that he needed to clean the room and for me to leave. So I went outside of the room to a chair in the lobby to sit and finish my phone work. He then approached me saying that I couldn't sit there and that to go to my room. I question
