Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Junction Colorado

DISAPPOINTED! The location was great and the outside is just lipstick on a pig. Our room #344 smelled like marijuana, hallways were the same, latch was missing from the lock in the room, and to top it all off there was a used syringe and needle left in the shower. Breakfast and coffee were terrible. Truly one of the worst.

Because I was so late arriving and so tired, I couldn't request a new room when I discovered the faucet valve from bath tub to shower didn't work. First bath I have had in many years. In the morning I told the manager who went to my room and was able to change it to shower, but used way more force than I was willing to do, and the faucet itself was moving in the wall with the strength he had to use to switch it. Other than that, the hotel was nice with plenty of room for oversized vehicles.

If I could give less than one star I would. This place is disgusting, and the guy at the front desk (John) is absolutely unhinged. My husband, my 7 month old, and myself were in the room LESS than an hour. We had been driving for hours and finally decided maybe staying in a motel was our best option. It was absolutely disgusting, and the bed was uninhabitable for my 7 month old to sleep safely. I got a bite and could not sleep in the bed after that. There was a huge burnt hole in the floor. We kindly went down stairs to ask for a refund and John was extremely hostile and boreline threatening behavior in front of our 7 month old. He yelled at us continuously and told us we were not receiving a refund. We asked to talk to a manager and was met with more hostility. We both work in customer se

Staff keeps the place tidy. Its dated but it's a Super 8. Everything was clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was great with many option. The staff work really hard here and I even accidentally left my phone in the room only to realize it after checking out! I went to the front desk and they immediately helped me retrieve my phone. This isn't my first time staying at this Super 8 and it gets the job done...for a clean shower, a comfy bed, and breakfast in the morning. All for an affordable price. See you next year!
