Holiday Inn Express & Suites Grand Junction

We usually stay on horizon drive but decided to go with this hotel. And it was great. Close to the mall (we came for an event there) the room was nice and clean. Comfy bed.. I loved the free coffee in the lobby all night long. The best park was the breakfast, big yummy selection and. All the staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast attendant Kelly definitely goes above and beyond with every guest making them feel welcomed and was a treat to talk to early in the morning.

Loud drunk neighbors caused us to change rooms in the middle of the night. You'll want to wear shoes in your room so you dont cut your feet on broken tiles... both rooms have broken tiles, missing grout. Good luck if you plan to use the hot tub, as they chose to drain it while it is supposed to be open to paying customers.. not even a continental breakfast. Save the headache and go anywhere but here!

This is the worst experience I have ever had with booking.com and IHG hotels. I arrived after 12 hrs on the rd with 3 under 4 years old. I had requested a crib which I was today told they only have two so if you are looking for a kid friendly hotel do not book here. The pull out bed has not been made up which apparently I was told is standard again never booking again with them. The Matress was horrible with dark stains looked like poop all over the Matress. Then I was the one with a bad back having to make the bed up. Totally disgusting. The staff was rude curt and couldn’t be bothered. After complaining to booking and to the general manager he was even worse and actually had the nerve to correct my dyslexia and speak to me unprofessionally and curtly. I stayed three nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Grand Junction — my first stay in nearly a year but hardly my first overall. ||||Over the last four or five years I’ve stayed here a half-dozen times. A couple of those earlier visits were decidedly poor, mostly due to lapses in cleanliness, though the last stay was good enough to warrant a return.||||This time, the experience landed on the better side of average. Staff were friendly and hospitable, housekeeping service was provided daily, and the room itself was comfortable with the usual conveniences. The hotel has newer televisions with expanded channel selections and a gym that was surprisingly well-appointed for mid-range chain hotel. Thoughtful touches included local and national newspapers alongside tourist magazines. ||||That said

Disappointed in our room. No hand soap or lotion at sink. Had to use the body wash in shower to wash our hands. Found clothes left in drawer. Air conditioning was off when we entered the room. When it was on, it made a rattling noise. The beds slept good and the breakfast was good. The lady at desk when we checked in was very nice and also the breakfast lady was very accommodating.
