We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Junction KOA Holiday! We were in one of the premier RV sites with a gazebo, which made it such a great space to relax after long days of hiking and mountain biking. Our friends stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and loved it too—clean, comfortable, and perfect for them. The park is really well maintained, well designed and stocked (even has propane on site!), and the whole place has a welcoming, laid-back vibe. We enjoyed the quiet evenings and Grand Junctions stunning mesa sunsets right from our site. Great friendly staff, great sites, and a really enjoyable stay. We’d definitely stop here again on our travels!
This Koa is the perfect mix of beauty and relaxation. It’s nestled right on the Colorado River, has beautiful scenery, fishing, a pool, a splash pad, a dog park, and a cute little shopping store on site. There’s a gas station next to it as well which is nice for quick shopping. There is also an awesome shuttle service in the summer that picks you up at your campsite, drops you off at the Miners Claim restaurant and returns you directly back to your campsite. The food there was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
We stayed here as a pass through and it was very nice. The sites were clean and had a picnic table and Hubble type lights along the paths. The receptionist was super helpful and kind. The laundry facilities were perfect- lots of washers and dryers. It was a short drive to the downtown area and not far from Colorado National Monument. Would stay there again, nice and quiet.
Very clean and nice KOA. They have a couple of small dog runs for your furry friends. The bathrooms are great - clean and smelled really good! Nice showers. There is only one bathroom each for men and women (little different than other KOAs we've stayed at) but they weren't busy at all! The only real complaint is that it is located between two busy roads so they're is a lot of car noise at night.
Clean and quite. Even though we were there in the off season, we saw workers still maintaining the park. Didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities except for the showers, but everything looks well taken care of. The only thing I would critique about this place is how difficult it is to turn the water on at the site. It requires quite a bit of strength. Would return.
