Super 8 by Wyndham Florida City/Gateway to Keys/Everglades

It was a great experience from check in to check out. The cleaning staff was very nice and welcoming. Also the lady at the front desk was very helpful with all my questions and concerns. Lisa the Front desk lady is so awesome nice and friendly.

We stayed at the Super 8 hotel last night on our way back from Key West as a last-minute booking, and it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The front desk receptionist was very attentive, provided all the necessary instructions, and made us feel truly welcome. After a long drive, the room felt cozy and warm, which was much appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. We enjoyed a hot shower, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a nice and comfortable stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff here were so friendly and accomodating. The room looked neat enough, but the bathroom did smell of urine and even though the sanitized sticker was on the toilet, there was mold growing at the water level. The comfy chair had some unattractive stains, but the bed seemed clean and everything else was in working order. Cold AC, hot showers. We took advantage of the pool, which was small and pleasant. They were out of waffle batter while we were there for breakfast, but eggs and sausage were hot and fresh. Location was good and close to the heart of Florida city.

The hotel and the rooms ain’t bad, pretty good actually for the money but got a really bad experience checking in. The lady at the desk was rude and non respectful. I am traveling with my mom and she (and me too) was all upset about how we were treated.  We arrived early and were sent off because check in time wasn’t ready. We understand that! Just respond in a normal way saying the rooms ain’t ready will do. But she was very rude and when I said something about it it got even worse. Too bad because otherwise this could have been a nice stay but now I will never return.   Oh when we came back around 17 o clock … nobody there to check in can you imagine

Top sheets were clean. Mattress itself was clean. Comforter underneath top sheets was heavily soiled many stains. Room had cockroaches. General smell of urine throughout the room. Shaved hair on the wall, so you could tell they wiped the sink and then used the same rag to wipe everything else. Safe was anything but safe lol it was busted completely, and on the inside there was fecal matter from a small dog or cat. This room really isn’t up to the standard a human deserves. Staff was great though!
