Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Homestead Florida City

Despite some of the other reviews I had a pretty decent stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly , my room was great. The breakfast they had was amazing. This was by far the best hotel stay I have ever had. I will come back to this hotel location if I travel back this way. Thank you to all the staff at this hotel.

1 Star - Terrible Stay, Would Not Recommend My girlfriend and I stayed at this Fairfield for 2 nights during the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. The first night, we were woken up early in the morning by incredibly loud noise. Kids were running through the hallways kicking doors and screafing, making it impossible to rest. The noise disturbance completely ruined what should have been a relaxing morning of our holiday. The second night was even worse. Both my girlfriend and I woke up with numerous bug bites covering our hands and arms-approximately 10 bites on each arm, for both of us. This is completely unacceptable and suggests serious cleanliness or pest control issues in the rooms. For a hotel that's part of the Marriott brand, this level of servic

Positive: Clean comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Negative: Ac never cooled down room. Had to get room key redone 2 times before could get into room.

Breakfast was awful never been to a hotel with out waffles all they had was eggs and what ever they put out one day was ham egg and cheese croissant and your typical cereal and bread front desk doesn’t answer the phone and doesn’t have fans those who need that to sleep. Parking is 10$ a day and it’s not even gated so that was weird hotel is very clean. we started at best western and that was horrible so we moved to the next one over the location is close to key largo which was our highlight of the trip but if your looking to stay in the area it’s all Mexican,Cuban,Honduran food so keep that in mind when visiting the Everglades it’s not the safest area to go walk around in

location was great - right off the highway to Miami and Key West. But everything else was downhill from there. it took multiple calls to get the pillows or sheets delivered to the room. pillows were so flat that I was forced to have 2-3 pillows and give us neck pain - totally awful. we asked for water at the front desk and every time we were told it is coming the next day. ||breakfast was super crowded and the food would run out every 10-15 minutes. and there was a long wait for the food or coffee to be refilled. ||I'm gold elite member with Marriott and love staying at Marriott Hotels. But not this one for sure - skip this location and look for other hotels in the area.
