Super 8 by Wyndham Elgin

I was greeted as soon as i walked in. The gentleman at the desk was helpful and quick. The manager is very nice and respectful. I have AuDHD (autism and adhd combined) and seeing her son (who has autism) gave me Relief that this is the hotel for me😁 I’m super happy with everything 😃

Stayed here mainly because of how inexpensive it was. Also a convenient location. The bed was comfortable, tv was nice and plenty of channel. Breakfast options were slim but enough, especially at this price. ||The only issue was the carpet. It was absolutely filthy and even a bit sticky. After being in the room for only a few hours my feet were black. Scrubbed them with a washcloth and couldn’t believe it.

Air conditioning in room is fantastic. Water temperature for showering is fine. Fridge and microwave are great. Breakfast every morning (waffle maker, apples, yogurts, cereal, toast, and orange and apple juices). Staff is all friendly. Receptionists are very helpful. Housekeeping is great. No complaints. The area it is in in Elgin is very nice.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Washer and dryer for guests. Would recommend if passing through or long weekend

The only reason I'm giving it a 4 was because I was charged for the room that I also paid cash for... but when I noticed it, I called and the man on the phone was nice and I was sent my refund this morning.. thank you. The room and bathroom were clean. Usually when you get a cheaper hotel room it smells like mildew when you turn the A/C on... but this place didn't lol so that was nice too... it was clean and the bed was comfortable... if you're looking for affordable and clean this is the one.
