Candlewood Suites Elgin NW-Chicago by IHG

My one night stay at this property next to Interstate 90 was beyond my expectations. The location is ofc the main road with very peaceful and pleasant surroundings. The staff was very helpful and had quick check in. The small store at property had milk and coffee available 24x7. The room was well maintained and clean. Will definitely stay next time,

We stayed here on our way home to Minnesota as a place just beyond Chicago traffic. I reserved it a couple hours ahead on the IGH app. ||Easy access from I-90. ||Very nice, friendly front desk person. ||Clean, comfortable, quiet. Appreciated the kitchen items. ||Just be aware that they do not offer breakfast, only coffee. You can purchase items in their mini store. There are good breakfast places nearby.||Will return!

We had a very comfortable stay. I have to say this though. I usually bring my own tissues paper. But I forgot it and I must say this that they're bathroom tissue wasn't bad. It was thick enough that it didn't break apart and stick to me. I really appreciate that they took the time to get stronger toilet paper. That's just one of my pet peeve.

I broke down on the interstate and I was lucky enough to have this Candlewood near me. I notified them that I was coming but I was going to be walking. The temps were below zero and we had a snow storm going on with 35 mph winds. Alex at the front desk waited and watched for me to arrive and was genuinely happy to see that I made it. They took very good care of me, the room was clean, comfortable and most importantly, warm! I'd love to stay there again if the need should ever arise! Thank you!

We highly enjoyed our stay! The rooms were comfortable. The amenities were Fantastic with a work out room, scale, and free laundry! We also loved how pet friendly and accommodating they were. The staff was also super friendly! Only complaints were we weren’t able to get extra towels because they were in the wash. Our room was also right outside the outdoor patio, so I understand people are going to be loud on a Saturday night, but we were getting up early the next day for a flight and would have liked the noise to settle down once it hit 10 pm.
