Super 8 by Wyndham Clear Lake

Room smells like cigarettes when first enter towels were stiff like card board heater was dirty and filled with dirt had to clean it for myself to breath in the room. All around the building is very nice. Like the vending machine did not work had to go to the gas station across the street to get my soft drink

Needed a place to stay after getting off work because of the weather. Price was good and guy at front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was a different story. It had absolutely no heat. It was so cold that me and my son both had to sleep with our coats and hats on and we were still freezing. Towels and wash cloths were yellow/brown and dingy. There was what appeared to be a piece of chocolate cereal behind the door in the bathroom door. Will not stay here again.

Room was ok, carpet needed to be vacuumed a bit better. Was hoping to have a decent Breakfast, Not too much available, tried the waffle, but to my surprise the waffle tasted funny, bitter. Had to spit it out, I thought I'll try another piece...Nope, still gross. Oh well try the cereal, milk was bad. Dear super 8 you should try your products before serving to the public. I think not to many people stay here and the Breakfast stays out too long.Only thing that was good was the coffee and juice. The only reason we stayed here is because it was close to hwy 35 North, Never again

Positive: Nothing Negative: Room was filthy. Outlet in bathroom didn't work. Couch was dirty, stained and very old. Ugly bug on nightstand.

Acquired last minute room here through expedia. Wish I had just straight out called hotel. This was a superb choice as the rooms were very nice, staff were well trained and exceptional customer service and all the extra added perks. I had ground floor room, able to have my dog, quiet, clean, all I could need or hope for. I highly recommend this hotel.
