Sunset Motel

Me and my family were desperately looking for a room late at night. Making reservations online was not easy especially since we were tired. We started driving and finally after stopping at several places we drove upto the Sunset Motel. It was very affordable and it had a full kitchen that made it feel like home away from home. Check in only took about 8 minutes. The gentleman at the desk Drew was wonderful and very helpful. Also the name Sunset Motel agrees with this place because it faces Westward and has a beautiful view that you wouldn't expect within city limits. I look forward to going back someday.

Came here last night with my family of 5 kids and us 2 adults plus our very loving puppy that’s an aka service dog GERMAN SHEPERD” just turned 1 yrs! The community is very nice and friendly! Other then that I can say for our first time being there for less then 24 hrs our room we got was very unpleasant! The curtains kept coming off the hinges every time I wanted to open them up, the cabinets were messed up the wiring in range hood above the stove were hanging down which is a safety hazard, there was a very strong smell of cigarettes! ROAHES all in the kitchen couldn’t even cook our family a meal was scared of having roaches in our food kept mostly all our belongings in our vehicle!doors had holes in them tv didn’t work, the owner was not nice to us charged us $120 for the room plus a $50

This motel is more of a extended stay there are people living her long term including the employees. It may not look beautiful but it comfortable. Everyone is nice but stay to themselves since the manager does not allow visitors. This is because she don't want her motel a drug spot. The owner/manager which are mother and son are very respectful and try and work with you they are very kind hearted you can tell but also have been taken advantage of so strict at the same time. Wonderful place to stay long term if needed!

It's one of my favorite motels when I travel. I always stay there they got good service good location and cleanliness room also safety gate and fenced. I totally recommend it you should try it on your travel needs or vacation.

I practically lived here when I was using (opiates and meth), back when "The Highway (Pacific Highway S." was my stopping grounds in 2021 which was during the time they put up the electric gate. I've stayed in several different rooms and never experienced any bed bugs or saw any roaches but that doesn't necessarily mean they're not their. I'm proudly going on 3 years clean in May and have zero desire to go back. As far as the rooms, they're decent but I recommend choosing a different location if the thought of being around the drug scene scares you or if you have kids especially teens who are young and impressionable because it's easy to get mixed up with the wrong people and addiction often finds you when you're younger. Rooms are cheap, but I honestly would look elsewhere, the highways
