Sunset Inn St. Augustine

The room was old, the facilities were very outdated, the bedding was from the same era as the hotel's opening, I wasted my money. I do not recommend it. And I was charged $177 for one night because of the St. Augustine Christmas Lights 2025. The hotel should be shut down.

I've been staying here long-term this is a very centrally located reasonably priced hotel for the area.. the rooms are clean and efficient the management doesn't bother you really and it's mostly quiet.

Positive: They gave us the handicap room. Negative: No microwave and the fridge had no freezer

This place has maggots in the sink and the Google maps said the rooms were $73.00 and when we showed up to stay because we came a day early and didn't have any rooms available in the place we are to stay the rest of the week we had to make a decision of where to go we asked the lady at Southern Oaks in where a good place to stay might be and she lead us to sunset saying the place next to her was known for throwing people's stuff out on the lawn. So we listen to her and went to Sunset Inn it was almost 11 at night and had been driving 9 hours so we went. I walked in and there was a weird mildew smell and so I said well we have to make it work. Bathroom has maggots in sink when you turn water on and the shower water came out 🟤 brown we brushed out teeth with bottle water and never took a bat

The room was nice, The bed was comfortable. We had the handicap room, and the bathroom was perfect. The ony drawback was no microwave in room. I had read a review stating that no microwave was in the disability room, so we brought our airfryer and warmed the leftovers up. I will stay here again when visiting Saint Augustine in the future. The owner is friendly and the lication is great.
