Sunset Inn

This is the 2nd time I've stayed there. The first time was better. This time they put me in a room with a "handicapped" bathroom. Not really. The room was smaller than the first time. If I had been in a wheelchair, I couldn't have gotten into the room. The bathroom at safety bars, but I stead of a shower, there was a tub. I was able to use it but no one in a wheelchair couldn't have. There were no towels but they brought them quickly. The trash can under the sink hasn't been emptied from previous customers. The floor had stuff on it. I always take a sheet and blanket with me when I travel. This time I used them as I was uncertain if the bed had been changed. I will be back to Augusta as I travel there every 2 weeks, but usually I only need a place to shower and maybe rest for an

Washing machine apparently broken with no laundry detergent available in town. Dirty towels, dirty sheets, dirty shame. Parking lot didn't feel safe. Wife couldn't sleep and I stood guard all night.Will never be back. Do yourself a favor, pay an extra $30 and stay somewhere decent. This is definitely not decent

Was much better than I expected. Room, including bathroom, was super clean. Bed was more comfortable than I expected as well. Pleasantly surprised.

Our stay at the Sunset hotel was nothing short of spectacular very quiet and relaxing great proximity to shopping and eating places in all directions 10 minutes from downtown Augusta the room was very clean and comfortable the staff was very professional i couldn't have made a better choice in a hotel i will definitely book a room at this hotel again when i am in Augusta thank you for your business

Came to Augusta for business and wanted to be close to everything. Good location. A variety of food places near by. My room was clean and updated. I love the flat screen tv size. They have direct tv. The bed was comfortable. The a/c gets cold. The hot water gets hot. The refrigerator is the exact size I wanted freshman year in college! It was clean. The microwave gets hot and it was clean as well. Overall, quiet property. I felt safe. The staff was nice and accommodating. Definitely will come back and recommend to anyone on business or leisure!
