Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center

My husband and I came in for a show at Bell auditorium. The hotel staff are very nice, very helpful. Easy, pleasant check in/ out. The room was very comfortable, clean. The hotel airport shuttle service was fabulous, nice driver, quick ride. The riverwalk behind the hotel is a nice place to take a walk. We had dinner at Bootleggers just a block from hotel. Very good. We hope to visit again and stay at this hotel.

Stayed two nights and was impressed with the look of the lobby and punctuality of the hotel staff. They were very helpful and this looked like an upscale hotel. However, things changed after checking in. The hotel staff was always great, but the quality of the facilities changed. There was a parking garage which was nice, but parking was difficult with the small spaces and it was not clean. The room, a two queen suite, appeared to have had some upgrades in recent years, but still had a very outdated feel. One of the folded towels was dirty and there was dirt on the floor in the entryway. The appliances were also outdated. The bathroom looked to be the most up to date and the shower was hot with nice water pressure! We enjoyed a nice breakfast in the concierge lounge as well as evening dess

This is a great place to stay. Its close to everything downtown. It has an excellent place to eat in house. Augustino's is a delicious Italian restaurant. My room was spacious and clean. I was very pleased with my stay. The only drawback was the indoor pool was under construction. No big deal.

We were in town for our daughter’s college graduation and our stay couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was exceptionally nice. Upscale linens. pillows and a really comfortable mattress. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me get the graduation tickets printed at the front desk the night before the graduation and were happy to do it. I have stayed there on several previous occasions and eaten in the restaurant but did not have a chance to eat there this trip. On each occasion previously, the food was wonderful and the service was good. I would highly recommend staying there if you have any occasion to visit Augusta.

We booked our room. And then I went to read some reviews. I was scared to go. But, I will say I was surprised.Service was great. Nicholas check us in and he was very friendly.Our room was very clean. Our view was great. Only down fall was the area was blah nothing to do we were not impressed. Riverwalk though was nice to walk.We will be sticking to the Savannah area from now on
