Sundermeier RV Park

We stopped here for two nights on our way to Niagara Falls. The lady ar the desk was very friendly and welcoming. The sites were super clean and level and easy to maneuver into with a 40 foot rig. There aren't a lot of amenities at the park, but there's a very nice rail to trail behind it with access to playgrounds and hiking/biking. The campground is also very close to the main streets in Old St Charles, which is amazing for shopping and dining.

I've stayed here a couple times and generally like the park. I appreciate owners investing in urban RV parks and I don't expect much for amenities in these kinds of settings. The staff were pleasant on a pre-arrival phone call and at check-in—but once there was an issue, the office staff member became very argumentative and rude, consistent with other online reviews.||||**ELECTRICAL SAFETY WARNING**||DO NOT use the 30A receptacles here unless you have a surge protector with an Electrical Management System (EMS) that explicitly confirms correct wiring before connecting your RV. We called into this RV park and no less than 20 minutes we found a lug in our tire. We couldn’t make our reservation so within 1 hour of when we booked… we called and said we couldn’t make it. They charged us a $10.00 cancellation fee.. when I asked why? She said just standard policy. So much for grace and understanding. I could understand if we had made the reservations a month ago, but we had just called… this is why people are done with Rv parks.

A very nice RV Park right on the Katy Trail. My sister and I rode the Trail and our husbands moved the motorhome. The lady at the counter got a bit upset at the guys for showing up before check in time and wouldn't let them park the camper in an empty parking lot or a couple of hours so they had to leave everything at a Love's truckstop. But we really enjoyed the park. All spots have concrete pads and the park is very clean.

Great RV park! Great location, easy to find and get around STL. RV slot was concrete and perfectly level. Full hook up with no complaints. Shower houses were clean and locked at all times (code to get in). Quiet hours were followed pretty strictly. Everyone we ran into was super pleasant. Darlene at the front desk is a gem, gave us great advice on getting downtown via the Metrolink. Saved us money and a big headache. Will return for more STL visits
