Sun & Ski Inn and Suites

Wonderful location close to town. Super easy access to Stowe for skiing (free shuttle drop-off at hotel coming back, and diagonally across street at Pinacle Sports to get there). Continental breakfast nice (great granola, Cabot Greek yogurt and cheese, and lots of fruit and muffins too). Yummy afternoon fresh chocolate chip cookies also a nice touch. The double queen motel style room overdue for a renovation, but overall happy with the stay here. Quaint lobby area with fireplace used for breakfast and available all day/night, but if you’re in the motel part of the property you need to walk outside to get there.

Positive: The facilities were great with lots of options for fun. But the staff was outstanding. One if the best hotel experiences from a staff perspective. Negative: The tub drain was slow but a minor complaint

I have stayed here the past 3 years for my annual ski trip. I need to acknowledge Ethan who was one of the best staff members I have ever seen. Between helping us get the hot tub hot getting our fire in the fire pit going, Keeping the snacks out, etc. etc. etc. he was absolutely phenomenal and made all of our states. Great cannot recommend enough. Besides, even the rest of the staff was extremely friendly knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy their job which goes a long way I would really recommend this hotel to anybody going with friends, family, or even solo

Stayed here on a busy winter weekend to ski with my family. We had a room in the brand new building. The room was large (comfortably fit two parents and two teens with ski gear), well set up and decorated, and had a great view (with patio for the summer) of the river behind the hotel. Lobby area and lounge are inviting, and the pool and hot tub were nice. Finally, the service was outstanding. We had a problem with some of the electrical outlets in our room not working (not a surprising problem in a room that was just opened for business), and the way that the managers handled it was excellent. Bottom line: excellent rooms, location, and service. I’ll definitely visit again.

This is my first time at Sun 'n Ski. Over the course of a year I'm up to Stowe to ski, visit friends, summer golf, and clear my mind from suburbia. Over the past 30 - 35 years, I and my wife (though I flew solo this visit) have stayed at several other hotels, resorts, motels and rentals in the area. First, I love to ski. When I ski, I rise at 5:00 A.M. for first/early chair. At the end of the day I need recovery, a meal, and sleep to resume the next day's pursuit of happiness. Sun 'n Ski filled those needs very, very well. The property is rebuilt over the past 10 (?) or so years and is modern and well maintained. Staff helped me choose a king room that met all my needs. In the room facing the Little River, sleep came easily. I didn't bowl (quads, glutes, and thighs - Please!).
